    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I probably wouldn't recommend it due to the high course difficulty level and the large amounts of time that needs to be invested in order to do well in this course.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course, were the fun labs we did once in a while. I learned a lot of what biological processes living things go through and how they function and a lot of other intriguing things.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

When taking this course, make sure to thoroughly read the chapters and go over every resource given to you when preparing for the AP Biology tests and the AP Biology test given in May.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is very helpful if someone was going into a science major. The information learned in this course is generic for biology, and does not focus on one subject in biology, it goes over them all. It is interesting, however make sure you go over the information you learned.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the dissections. Both a cat and a starfish were dissected and it was very interesting to see and participate in. I learned the anatomy of animals which is very helpful for what I want to study in college.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This course is all about memorization. You will do yourself a big favor if you go over what you learn in class at least once a week, even if there is no test that week. I also recommend a lot of flashcards, because it makes memorization a lot easier. One of my classmates also color coded their notes, and it seemed to help them a lot because they remembered the colors when it came time for the tests. Please know all of the details, they will be needed.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would absolutely recommend this course for those who are interested in the functions of human body and the genetics that makes up a person. It gave me alot of interest though it required alot of hard work and dedication it was worth the try.

    Course highlights:

What i learned from this course was the ability to focus on my work individually and more with a group. Allowing me to improve in my social skills, i was able to get a taste of how college work is and how much dedication and courage needed in order to complete the work. Theres no time for breaks.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Dedication needs to be a primary existance in your work. There are no easy way out of the work, and its important to have a clear view of what you want to study in order to enjoy this subject.
