Pretty easy, overall.
I would recommend this course because it gives us an opportunity to learn about the world. Sometimes we become so ignorant in our thinking, but I feel this course allows us to learn about different cultures and traditions beyond the ones in the United States. Not only that, but the teacher for this course makes the class one where its not centered around a test. Having said that he still prepares you for the exam but doesn't make the class exam based and I think thats how it should be.
Highlights from this course included group projects as well as factual readings that went i detail about the gruesomeness about the world's history, Sometimes the teacher would take a moment to read to us actual accounts of events that took place. I remember once he shared an account of the Rwandan genocide. It was very upsetting but I think it helped us try to visualize what had happened. Another thing we did was current events every Friday because our teacher felt its important to have knowledge of what was happening in the world. I actually learned so much out of this course. I learned about tragedies in ourhistory and the vibrancy that exists in other cultures.

Advice for students:
Advice I want to give to people considering this course would be do all your work. Sometimes we think that just because the teacher isn't grading it we should not do it. However, I would say steer away from that type of thinking. The teacher has a reason for giving you those types of assignments. Also you might gain a lot from that assignment and from that you can apply that new found knowledge elsewhere.
