Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I never liked math and I was never good at it. It wasn't one of those things I was good at. It was something I worked at and eventually got better at. This class is fun and makes you touch up on your skills in a interesting, different way.

    Course highlights:

Sometime in the school year you will participate in a group project. You and your partner will pick a city anywhere and figure out apartments and where they stand due to cost. It is a fun way of getting to know that city and what the crime rate is, the cost to live there, and what attractions are around. I learned so much about the outside world and how math has to be apart of your daily life. So you might as well start now!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The biggest thing I could say is, do not give up. There were so many times when I thought about dropping out because other students were getting better grades and catching onto the topic faster than I would. But then there would come a topic that I was so good at and that boosted my confidence. Just because something doesn't click the first time it is presented does not mean it won't click a week or two from then. Practice, and have fun. Mr. Gunnerson is going to be one of the best teachers you will have.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course helped me think logically and push myself to find certain problems. The work you put in to the problems is all worth it; once you get the correct answer.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was learning new material and becoming familiar with statistics. All throughout the class, especially in the beginning, I didn't think I could do it; but I learned that no matter how difficult it may seem, you have to dedicate yourself to learn.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Advice I would give to students is do not be intimidated by what is put in front of you or your first grade on a test you take. It takes the right mindset and trust me, you can do it.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Easy class with not a lot of homework, easy to do math, and fun subject

    Course highlights:

How to use bell curves, find linear regression, and to calculate confidence intervals. I have learned to never trust survey polls.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Bring the right calculator. Preferably the school's TI-84
