    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course if you have a serious commitment and passion for the art of dance. If you like learning about the history of dance starting from the earliest centuries, I would highly recommend this class. This course really makes you think back to dancers centuries ago and places yourself in their shoes.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course are definitely watching videos from old ballets and shows. You can see how much choreography has changed and the way people dance. You really see that even though modern day dancers use the same basis of technique, things have changed a lot.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

When you are researching about different topics be sure that you really understand it. Also you're notes do not mean anything if you do not go home and look at them everyday. That is how I succeeded in this course.

While the power points are available online, it does help to take notes during class.
