    | Would highly recommend.

    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    The classes helps develop the way you think and write in order to get you college ready. Mr. Talbert is a great, fun teacher who knows how to convey the class content in easily-understood ways.

    Course highlights:

    The course prepares you for college level English more than anything else. It challenges you to develop your writing techniques and reading analysis. Also the projects for the class were not too stressful or difficult.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Stay up to date with the material because it is easy to fall behind with senioritis. Also everything you do in class builds off the last thing and your paper at the end of quarter 3 will reflect that.

    Course Overview:

    I would definitely recommend this course because it has helped me so much on my journey preparing for college. With this class, I have written my college essay that I used to apply to all of my schools and been accepted too. We also have read many books and written many essays at the college level to also help us prepare for college, which has definitely helped when wondering what to expect in college, and now knowing because of this course.

    Course highlights:

    One of the main highlights was definitely writing my college essay in this class. With help from this class, I knew where to start and how to write the essay in which I was guided in the right direction by knowing what colleges want to hear in your essay.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    I would say to definitely take it to be able to correctly write your college essay, as well as experience what a college english course is like, by seeing what books we read in this class as well as what essays we write and how we write them.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

    Great teacher that always tries to connect with his students not just on an academic level but also on a personal level. Taught the students by keeping the class interesting.

    Course highlights:

    The poetry section as he made it fun and enjoyable. We wrote our own poems that could be fun and entertaining.

    Show up ready to learn and staying involved in class.
