Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Of course, you need credits in an alternate language. And while it's possible to be impartial to Spanish or German, the French teacher for 1-2 and 5-6 is fantastic. He's got a method of making the process of learning a new language and a new world unforgettable. Not only in games but in 'dictee's. The teacher himself, makes learning so much more fun. He brings stories and trivia into the lesson.

    Course highlights:

We learned more than the basic je, suis, tu, ils, elles, nous vous et il/elle. We learned about culture, we learned about the country and some of it's history. Some attractions in france like the many palaces up for sale, the smallest country in the world, the reason behind France having such small food portions. The course opens your eyes to something new.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

As per with any course you should come with an open mind and be hungry to learn. Repetition is key and don't expect to learn a thing unless you actively try to. West is one of those teachers who only try as hard as you do. If you want to learn, he wants to help you learn. With someone like him there's no reason not to learn to write a small paragraph at the end of the year in French.
