Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because the teacher really cares about his students and will stop at nothing to help them understand the concepts. He takes the time to know his students and finds where they are struggling and helps them to understand the concepts completely.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of the course was the extensive prep time for the AP Test. I felt confident that I would get a 5 on the exam and I did. I am usually panicked about test but even a huge one like the AP Exam wasn't a problem.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed you need to take notes over the course and independently study the areas you are really struggling. The teacher helps you find you weak spots so you can improve.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

For those who are math-headed and would believe that a person can do great in Engineering or Physics, this is highly recommended.

    Course highlights:

Throughout the full school year (Fall, Winter, and Spring), the main topics were to define limits, take the derivative, and Integration of a function. Then we use these abilities and strategies to take the AP test with other classmates by using past-year tests.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take Pre-Calculus before this for sure, get Mr. Becker to teach this course if he's still around; you'll love him. He has a motto where it doesn't hurt to fail something, because FAIL is actually an acronym for First Attempt in Learning.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Steven Becker teaches the class in a way that is easy to catch on and to understand. His class allowed me to discover that I actually like Math. It also helped me to decide where I want to go in college. His class is worth taking.

    Course highlights:

I gained a better understanding of Math. I learned how to take derivatives and integrate functions. I never thought that I would be able to do such college things. I was afraid to go into college level math, but once I started the class I realized that it wasn't as scary as I thought. Steven Becker is funny and appreciates all of his students. He treats everyone like they are an adult, not a child which is greatly appreciated.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To any students considering this course, make sure to do your homework. It will help in the long run. Also take the time to study every night during the last trimester. It will make the AP test a lot easier.
