Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I'd personally recommend it because of the teacher. He's so passionate about what he teaches and is just an amazing role model for students. He may be a little quirky, but he makes calculus feel easy and can teach in a lot of different ways.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to take derivatives, integrate, do limits, and much more. I'd say one of my favorite parts of Calculus AB was the final project of the year. You make a video about what you've learned and it's so fun. Also, Becker made sure we were all really prepared for the AP test and our school's average was over a 4 while the average for everyone was under a 3.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the homework ahead of time. Also, make sure to study for the tests. Most of the stuff you'll see on the test is on the board review; however, it's still good to study for the tests since they are 60% of your grade. Also, this is a college level math class, which means no retakes and no late work, so be responsible with your assignments and study habits.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The teacher is amazing, and he makes the class fun. The coursework is challenging but manageable.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the class are comradery through AP testing, feeling confident in one's knowledge, and the teaching. I learned everything necessary for the AP test.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study everything, ask questions often. Board reviews are life savers.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I learned way more than calculus in this class. I learned algebra skills that I wasn't taught in prior classes. The classroom is a great environment, I learn a lot of new information while having a great time.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this class is the rewarding feeling after the AP test. Mr. Becker prepares his students so that they are likely to exceed on the AP test. After the AP we have a fun video presentation for our final.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I recommend that you don't procrastinate your homework. Do it on the first day assigned so that you can ask questions the next day.
