Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Taking this course over the summer was very convenient and helped prepare me for other college classes. I acquired many skills and learned multiple writing techniques. I was required to write four different papers and one final paper, each being a different style of writing. I learned how to properly write an argument essay, a reader response critique, a research paper, and an annotated bibliography. The course was online, but I still experienced a great connection with my professor.

    Course highlights:

Although I wrote several papers, I found that it helped me become a better writer. We had to write a rough draft to a paper one week, and then the next week the final copy would be due. This allowed me to receive feedback on my rough draft from my professor and peers within a big enough time span to fix my paper before it was due. I also learned how to correctly write in MLA format and make citations. The books we used for the class contained great information on MLA format and it helped me greatly. The class was required to do weekly discussions over different topics. I really enjoyed doing these because it allowed me to interact with the other students and create a connection with them.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would highly recommend this course to students for multiple reasons. There was a lot of writing involved, but there was always enough time to get the work done. If there were problems that occurred, I was easily able to contact the professor and find a solution. I would advise to always work ahead on the discussions and research. It is always better to have more work done ahead of time then to be cramming at the last minute.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would receommend it because, although it is a more difficult course, it demands so much more from you than any other English course you've previously taken and you'll accomplish more than you probably thought you could.

    Course highlights:

I greatly improved my ability to write academic papers this class.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

DO NOT PROCRASTINATE. She will be able to tell if you wait until last minute to write and revise your papers and you will do poorly.
