    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

My instructor taught- -not just assign homework. Huge difference when being a full-time student, taking a college course concurrently, being a Varsity Pom academic all-stater, and working parttime. Mrs. McBride really reinforced her class lectures with supplemental information which proved to be quite beneficial.

    Course highlights:

It was interesting learning how to write a case study. She allowed us to choose variables instead of just focusing on a specific format. With my interest in medicine, I consulted with a local individual in the profession (because at this level research is not possible or practical.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Prepare; take good notes; utilize the instructor's experience she enhances her lectures with; spend some time in a large group setting (I do this when I go to church around hundreds of members) watching intensely their actions.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Just pay attention when taking notes, she grades them very thoroughly.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to anyone wanting to learn about basic psychology. The course is quite easy yet very enjoyable, and most of that is due to the teacher. Mrs. McBride is an extremely amazing teacher who will never lead you bored and provides a very inviting classroom.

    Course highlights:

The main reason of this course is to give you a peek into the world of psychology to see if it fits you. I learned a lot about psychology, but one thing that really stuck in my head was the effect of drugs. There is a whole chapter dedicated to drugs and their effects on you, and Mrs. McBride does many fun interactive experiments and games to help you fully grasp the content.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This course is not that challenging if you are wanting a more rigorous course I would not choose this one. Although, I did greatly enjoy this class and the teacher. I honestly have no real complaints. If you want a fun, easy, but yet interesting course this one is for you.
