    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was an excellent class and I was able to learn more about coding than I ever thought I would learn. I was able to work my brain in ways I hadn't before and created some programs of which I am extremely proud. The teacher, Ricca, is also fantastic and really loves what she teahces.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were the Arduino coding where we programmed the battery pack that is a part of most kids' toys. We made lights change color, speakers create different tones, and much more!

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to pay attention and write things out before asking for help. You may think you are lost, but thinking everything through could be very helpful. You are smarter than you think!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course because Computer Science is a growing field and the earlier that one is introduced to it, the better. Mrs. Ricca is an amazing teacher and the course is project-based which makes it a lot of fun. One is able to program games and useful appliances, and students get a lot out of it.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course are the projects. From making games to coding a machine that does math for you, this class teaches you everything you will need to know in Java and computer science as a whole.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you read the textbook and do the homework. If you don't you'll fall behind. It may seem tedious at first, but it will all be worth it.
