    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it was the highlight of my sophomore year and it helped prepare me for college! When the semester was over I was left with not only knowledge about literature but valuable life lessons and studying tips that helped me to become the best student I can be.

    Course highlights:

I learned that every assignment you are given is for a reason. There was always a purpose behind it and I would not be the same student I am today without this class. I learned about various places in different time periods through reading!

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Do not allow yourself to slack off even the slightest bit while taking this class, if you happen to fall behind it is very hard to catch up. Always stay on top of all your work and really put in all the effort you can with every assignment. It'll pay off in the long run.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Ms. Keller is an astounding teacher who pushed each one of her students to be the best that they can be and her class prepares you for college.

    Course highlights:

I gained more knowledge about multiple subjects not just english, but social studies and science all through reading books she assigned us.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this class you must be willing to sacrifice your own time and dedicating it to homework and studying. Although it may seem like a lot in the beginning, you will realize as the semester goes on that it's only helping you.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Of course, as with all high school courses, the class and how it's taught all depends on the teacher. With Eng. 2 Honors, it can be very stressful if you don't manage your time very well. There are lots of books (My teacher gave us one every month) with Socratic discussions at the end of the book and papers to write periodically.

    Course highlights:

I learned quite a bit about history through other countries, really, along with many grammatical things that I hadn't never learned and the debunking of old ones we had engrained in us.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Set aside time at home where you put away all electronics (unless you're writing your paper) and read or study or do your homework. Manage your time, keep reminders. You'll feel better if you do. And always remember, mental health is important too. Don't get too stressed over it.
