I will recommend it because you'll learn about many different tones, fallacies, comparisons and everything you need to know about writing that are so important to use in every day life.

    Course highlights:

You'll be able to learn the rethoricla devices, fallacies that you should avoid when writing or even when speaking to someone else, how to write argumentative and persuasive essays and even how to make an argument using evidence with what you read and most importantly it prepares you for the AP exam

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to give it all and if you see any difficulty on something for ex. It is hard for you to do a persuasive essay focus on it and ALWAYS ask for help. Stay after school and ask for the teachers opinion and advices to do better

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I'd recommend this course because of the many things to be learned and the fun behind it. While the work can be difficult at times, the beauty and art of English really comes alive in the classroom.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course included the many different texts read such as Hamlet, Their Eyes Were Watching God, The Alchemist, and many others. I learned how to read in a thorough and more efficient way to give myself a deeper comprehension of the passage. I also learned how to work with others and communicate in a more improved way.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course, you have to like the subject. If reading is no fun for the student, then they won't be able to survive even a few months. Before coming into this, make sure this class is enjoyable to you. Once you are in this class, do not procrastinate. Do the work first, then relaxing follows. Read the book first, then relax.
