Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is really amazing, and really beneficial in learning and exploring your opportunities and all the different facets of the health field! You learn so much that you may not have known before, and it really sets you up very well for continuing education. It is a lot of work, but you can earn college credits through the Running Start program, and you will walk away with a lot more knowledge of the health field and the varies opportunities therein that exist for you.

    Course highlights:

This course is really educational, and you begin to gain a close relationship with your fellow classmates, especially as the seats change often and you do a lot of group work. I learned a lot. There was all of the medical terminology that we learned that got us college credit, I learned about legal and ethical responsibilities, we learned about body systems and infection control and diseases and careers, pretty much everything you could imagine in the health field we touched upon.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the work. If you do the work, which there is a lot of, you will be fine in the class. That includes doing all the flashcards, the worksheets, the projects, the competencies, everything. IT is a faced paced course, but if you make sure you do everything and turn it in on time, you will benefit. In addition, make sure you participate. There are a lot of opportunities and requirements for you to participate, so really engage in the class and take as much away from it as you can.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is meant to be tough, it is to get you ready for the outside world and educate you on the foundation of the medical field.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course was getting a in depth description of what we will be learning in college. It really showed me there is a lot more to it then there seems, a nurse needs to know all these disorders and in this class we got an in depth look at the different ones

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

That they need to really focus and be ready to work really hard. Nothing in this class really comes naturally, but as long as you do the work and study it will be ok.
