Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I really enjoyed this biology class, because of all the activities. Usually every class we had an activity, somewhere even outside. Study guides were provided for the test, which help tremendously to prepare.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this class was the experiment that measured the respiration rate in beetles. I like this because we got to work with animals.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the study guides before the test and go over the multiple choice review.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It teaches about the basics of all life as we know it! It's all very interesting, even if it can sometimes be bogged down with a lot of vocab words. As long as you study the material given before each major test, you'll do just fine!

    Course highlights:

My professor, Mrs. Scanlon is just an amazing instructor and human being in general. She's very sweet and extremely passionate about her job. I've never seen someone so excited to look at swamp water. You definitely want someone as thorough and involved as her to truly get into the lessons. There are a ton of labs (we had one every day) so you really get a hands-on experience each time. I learned about all kinds of organisms and the workings of all kinds of systems within them and their cells that allow for life.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The best advice I can give about doing well in this course is to keep yourself eager to learn all kinds of new things about the world around you. It's much easier to take it all in and appreciate when you're not just trying to memorize definitions.
