    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I recommend taking this class because it is not a AP class. I took this course my sophomore year, and we could either take this class or AP European History. I chose World History mainly because I didn't want to only learn about European history I wanted learn a little bit of everything from all around the world. the teacher I had was amazing. He had a way of teaching that really grabbed my attention.

    Course highlights:

I remember when we got to WWII and this a specifically favorite topic of mine. It was the first time I learned about the war from a different perspective. I also learned how the war really started. It was the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria by the terrorist group the Blackhand. His death and the unwillingness of countries to compromise, caused 65 million people their lives. I thought this was very interesting and dark. How could the world let these atrocities happen. Learning of this was a very highlightful of this course. I only really remember this lesson and the impact it had on me learning it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

listen to the teacher and take the notes he tells you, or you will be writing more than you should. this is a very easy class, their is just a lot of reading and lectures.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It gives an overview of the world's history, and the enjoyment comes when one can connect the dots through time to the present. The course is challenging but skill-building.

    Course highlights:

Despite it being a history course, my teacher managed to connect present day events and impress us with the course of history. This class was not a chore. It was a journey.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

To fully succeed in history, it is important to remember that enjoying it is the first step. A teacher that can convince a student to appreciate a subject is a true course hero.
