    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course expanded upon information learned in beginning chemistry. Hands on labs and group activities gave the class an interesting engaging spin. However, most of the material is learned at home through videos or through lectures.

    Course highlights:

Instead of learning about individual topics, I learned how to integrate all the topics throughout the year.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in class and watch the videos. The information is interesting if you engage yourself and pay attention. The labs aren't that hard so don't stress about them.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course expanded on the topics taught in Chemistry Honors/CP. Many topics taught in beginning chemistry are revisited and then taught in more depth. The course though involving much more work than an average course, was engaging and taught me a lot about chemistry.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot through hands on lab activities including creating labs to solve a problem. I enjoyed using the knowledge taught in class for a practical use. I learned about how chemicals react with each other on a surface as well as microscopic level.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in class. You can only get so far on your own and the information taught in class directly correlates to what you do in labs and what you are tested on.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because you get to learn about the things that you are going to learn in university before hand.

    Course highlights:

We learned a lot about molecular genetics and DNA

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Just be focused on what the teacher tells you. Study before hand
