    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The only reason I wouldn't recommend this course is the teacher. While yes, Mrs. Gilbert knows the language fluently, she does not possess the proper abilities to teach it, and would be much better off in a different career. The language, however, is incredibly beautiful and interesting. Yes, it is a little difficult to understand, but with enough practice it can be learned and spoken.

    Course highlights:

This course mainly focused on verb tenses and how to properly conjugate phrases according to the nouns within them. While these lessons were gruelling and often times very uninteresting, they are critical in being able to speak the language and communicate in French fluently.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Studying is key, I would suggest with flash cards. It is very important to know all the correct vocabulary, terms, tenses, and conjugations. This course was very heavy with new material, and it was all cumulative, so it is important to be on your toes in this course from the start. Not only that, but you MUST participate in class or Mrs. Gilbert will deduct from your final grade.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Teixeira is an amazing teacher who loves Spanish, but loves her students more. She makes this challenging course fun and you learn great content to excel you in the language.

    Course highlights:

I learned many new verbs, pronunciation of speech, and even some of the Spanish culture.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Practice the material she gives as much as possible to help it sink into your brain. Be respectful.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this to students willing to expand their horizons in learning languages, or dreaming to visit France, but wouldn’t recommend to students that are not willing to study.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to conjugate verbs and have conversations in french. I also learned about some French customs and typical traditions in families.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course you need to study the vocabulary and verb tenses a lot. I would recommend making verb charts and flashcards.
