    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is great because it really prepares you for college courses. You also get exposed to some great works of literature, and you will see massive improvements with essay writing skills.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this class were the group discussions. During those seminars you really get to learn a lot about the literature the group is discussing and you also learn a lot from each other.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

A lot of your grade depends on how well you do on quizzes and on the portfolios. I would not recommend doing the portfolios at the last minute, since they really are a lot of work and take awhile to complete. I would also recommend studying with a study guide throughout the year.
