    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend the course. The course opens up such a better understanding of the world of politics and how it really does at the end of the day affect you and your families life. You get to see the good and bad with these countries in relation to the US and then learn how to overcome certain obstacles that the world purposes.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course had to do with raw, real interpretations of the world. The politics and certain corruptions behind countries and plans. There was so sugarcoating in the lessons it was based on pure facts. So when we had these moments where we learn the cold hard facts, those were the best cause it showed us what was really going on. I learned that it is really important to care and to see what is going on in the world because you do have the power to change the things around you. Whether that is state or global politics.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to stay on top of the assignments given. It is really important to understand the material because everything that is taught, most likely will be on an exam. The course does not have time to show you things that are not important so just make sure you understand everything well. Ask questions because some topics are tricky and it is easy to misunderstand a policy and mix them up.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is a very independent class and if you're not very interested in history or otherwise find outside readings difficult to get through, you won't succeed in this class. That being said, the teacher offers many opportunities for bonus points to bring up your average if it suffers for any reason. Basically, you NEED to be motivated

    Course highlights:

I don't remember anything from this class. We discussed different genocides in the world if I remember correctly, enlightenment philosophers and their teachings, and African colonization. We also watched a lot of period movies about the subject we were learning in class.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the reading. Study on your own. Make friends who pay attention and try to form a study group. Take advantage of the extra points

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course is for people who are willing to work and study on their own. The workload is relatively large and the quizzes and tests tend to be difficult but it is worth taking in high school as opposed to taking it in college.

    Course highlights:

In this course, you learn about many wars and revolutions throughout world history. You are also taught about religions and other cultures.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not procrastinate. Make sure you are always on task and you don't fall behind. Once you fall behind, it is difficult to catch up.
