Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class was extremely informative and covered all of America's history in a very condensed way, but still very descriptive. The class is very note-heavy, but the teacher does an amazing job of giving more information with the notes as you move along. The teacher also does an amazing job of keeping the class interesting and fun, while still making sure that work is getting done and progress is made.

    Course highlights:

Not only did I learn about US History, I also learned how to take notes quickly and effectively, instead of just writing down everything that was on the slide. The class really helped me in essay writing under a time constraint by practicing DBQs and having some of our tests be DBQs. This helped me a lot in my AP Language and Composition class that I was taking at the same time, which also involved writing essays with a time constraint.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To be able to do well in this class, definitely review your notes after you take them by highlighting key points or writing a summary afterwards. Also on the day of a unit, definitely go to the study session the teacher holds the morning of. They helped me immensely and I would have not done as well as I did in the class if it was not for the study sessions.
