    | Would recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class is a great way to expand one's reading capabilities. It forces you to read challenging books, and in the process learn about different view points in the world.

    Course highlights:

My highlight from the course was being able to choose what I wanted to read. Of course, the book had to be of literary merit, but that still left me with a variety of choices. I especially loved reading 1984 by George Orwell. I was able to see how the writing styles of authors differ.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

As long as you show up and do the in-class assignments, as well as the reading, you should do just fine. It is not a particularly difficult class as long as you don't just sit there and refuse to do anything.
