    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because this was the class that really made me realize what is needed to become a good writer. In this class I realized that a vast amount of work goes into becoming a good writer, and a certain amount of dedication as well.

    Course highlights:

A highlight of this course is a 12 page paper that is assigned. We were given roughly two months to write this paper. I used to be a procrastinator, and this paper helped me realize that procrastination isn't going to be acceptable if I wanted to be successful in college. This paper is assigned to prepare us for college, and help us discover what kind of writer we were. I learned that when I actually put time into my writing, instead of writing everything last minute, that my writing skills were actually advanced.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

DO NOT PROCRASTINATE. Make sure that when you get homework you make a plan of attack, so that you aren't trying to do everything last minute. Also, keep track the amount of reading you're supposed to do for that class because if you don't you are more likely to fail.
