    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course if you haven't already taken an AP because it helps you get a feel for what an AP class is. It gives you an insight in what you study in psychology for those interested in that field. It also takes a little bit off the added pressure of an AP course since its not a main course subject like global history which is a needed class for a diploma.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course is definitely when you get to learn about personality and mental disorders because not only is it interesting but helps disprove any stereotypes of certain disorders. It also provides more in-depth information on the disorders you see in shows and movies like Criminal Minds.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The most important advice when taking this course is STUDY VOCABULARY! Vocabulary in psychology is so important because they are so many and a lot of questions are just straight definition questions. Another thing is make sure when you know a term that you have an example for it because it is crucial for the free response questions. The free questions for the most part are testing you on how you apply what you already in to real life examples. DO NOT just study one section and neglect the others. You do not know which terms they will use or what the topics are for free response. Be prepared to have many topics combined in one free response.
