Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it is a very interesting course and Ms.Gilliam's assignments and her method of teaching helped me to learn how to independently study better.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were when she would tell us funny stories or when she would make us laugh without meaning to. I learned a lot about myself and about this country and the way that it is going and how things are now.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your homework ahead of time and don't wait until the last minute. Also, read the outlines because they are very helpful, especially on the AP. And although the work is a lot, it definitely pays off when the AP comes around.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a lot of fun to learn about United States history. Some things would make you go wow. It gives you an understanding of the country you are living in now and how it came to be.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of this course would have to be how fun Mrs. Gilliam made the class. I learned about the different wars that took place, pass presidents and what they did during their term, foreign affairs etc.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Look over your notes every night. What ever was done in class that day, study it when you go home. This will help when you have a test coming up ,so you will not have to study so much the night before and you will be well prepared. It also really helps for the AP test.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you want to be prepared for higher education, she is the teacher for you.

    Course highlights:

Not only do you obviously learn the truth about America's roots, her teaching style makes you think critically and applies the learning you do on your own.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Read, read and read some more. Be also sure to annotate any notes that she gives you, even if she goes off tangent. Anything she says can and will be used against you in her court.
