    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you want to be intellectually challenged, this is the class for you. The literature we have read, and the discussions we have had, have changed my life.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about writing properly, and different genres. Panter does a great job choosing different kinds of literature, so you read a little bit of everything.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

When Panter offers to go over your essay with you, take him up on it. He is always there to help, and his advice is always extremely valuable.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Only take this class if you enjoy english. it is a very time consuming class as well as high level of difficulty.

    Course highlights:

Improved my writing skills by a land slide, also helped with the SAT.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Only take this if you are rigorous in english. this is a highly time-consuming class and you shouldn't take it unless you're willing to put in full time effort.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Because it teaches you how to write argumentative essays as well as read very deep and archaic text. Both of these skills are extremely important for college and even life so this class is definitely worth the while.

    Course highlights:

I read One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kesey, which is probably one of my favorite books of all time. Kesey made me question myself, society, and even my religion. Not many authors can do that. Writing argumentative essays was extremely fun for me because I am on the debate team so it helped me improve my speech drastically.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not quit. The course may seem overwhelming in the beginning but it gets easier as you develop into a better writer.
