Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course if you want to go into a medical field. It will help you decide if you like to studying/are interested in medical field in college. Also this class is an impeccable class that goes beyond health class and finally get answers about your body, diseases and medical terms.

    Course highlights:

My highlights of this course was taking apart a cat, and looking at its organs. I found this very cool and interesting since a cat has similar parts as us so it was cool to see it in person. I learned more about the skeleton and muscles in my body, and what diseases did to bones and muscles.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Memorize the terms and do not procrastinate and cram on an exam/test. Also try to use visual aspects to study. When it comes to anatomy, it is easier to look at it then read it out of the book.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course, for it gives student's the basic understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the human body. Coming out of this course, student's should be equipped to handle the first six weeks or so of medical school-semester one.

    Course highlights:

My personal highlight was the cardiovascular chapter. I learned lots about the physiology of the heart (the papillary muscles, heart valves, etc) and also many conditions involved in heart disease.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

STUDY STUDY STUDY. Our teachers implemented a 3-3-1 study system. Essentially, study material for thirty minutes for day, for three days, then ten minutes per day every day thereafter until material is mastered. THIS WORKS WONDERS.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's a college course class you can take in high school.

    Course highlights:

I had a heads up in what I might be learning in college, if I go to the health field.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Learn how to study, take note, and please do not skip any days if you choose to take this course.
