Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because unlike some classes in high school it is very hands on and interactive.

    Course highlights:

Dissecting the fetal pig at the end of the learn was definitely the highlight of the course. The course varies from molecular biology to large scale ecosystems.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

It is just really important to understand the labs because a lot of the AP test is analyzing data already gathered.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

AP Biology is meant for students that are dedicated and want to pursue a career in something related to science/medicine. It is a rigorous course, which requires a lot of time and effort in order to get a decent grade. Yes, it is an AP course; all students are expected to be responsible for their own work and study technics.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were that I personally really enjoy science and I liked challenging myself by taking an AP course. I learned about cells, the functions and structures of everything, evolution, animals, etc. This course allowed my peers and I to go in depth with "basic" biology topics so that we understand and can apply our knowledge to how things function.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Advice I would give students considering this course is to really set time aside to get work done and to study. Procrastinating is an ongoing issue with students and with this course, there really is no time to procrastinate. There is way too much material to go through before the AP exam in May, and all students must be prepared.
