    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's a very detailed, rigorous course about American History and I strongly recommend if you enjoy learning about the history and can handle a more rigorous course-load.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were the interesting projects that allowed for more creativity than most classrooms provide. I learned about every president we've had up to Obama, and I learned a lot of information about the time before the country was founded up to Obama's administration

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in class, and take detailed notes. Make flash cards or color code your notes, and study frequently to remember names and dates.

Most rigorous possibility for American History, and the most enjoyable version!

    Course highlights:

All the backstories of U.S presidents.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely take it if you love history and want to challenge yourself.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I personally would recommend this class to anyone with a strong love of history. It's definitely not boring and you definitely learn a lot.

    Course highlights:

I learned so much, from the settlement of Jamestown to Nixon's Watergate scandal. We learned a great deal about events surrounding the Civil War and the Gilded Age, and it was all (to me at least) quite fascinating.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take your notes. Look over your notes. If you wait til the last minute to do stuff, just make sure it's good. Don't just memorize the material, LEARN it. Know it. Organize the events in your head, know the reasons behind them.
