    Course Overview:

    Mr. Kornbau is a fantastic teacher who not only understands the english language, but also appreciates it. His passion to teach the subject is what made this course so enjoyable.

    Course highlights:

    The highlights of this course were learning more about historic play-rights like Arthur Miller and William Shakespeare. The Death of A Salesman was the highlight of this course because of it's realism and mature content.

    Advice for students:

    You have to fully read every book or short story assigned to you, having a good grasp on the pieces of work helps immensely. Having background knowledge you've acquired over the years prior to the class also helps a ton.

    Course Overview:

    It definitely helps prepare you for college and what is to come. You get a better understanding of the English world. Mr. Kornbau works really hard to make sure understand the knowledge of the class. Along with education it is also fun and interactive. You will definitely walk out of the class with a deeper understanding of literature.

    Course highlights:

    I learned how to write an AP Essay and analyze poetry. I also learned how to get in front of class and present. I learned how to pick out figurative language, poetry, and plays. I was also taught how to work with people on mini group projects. I was taught about famous literature authors and poets.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Make sure you use your time wisely. Don't forget to study! Make a plan of what you want to write about. Listen to the teacher and follow all the roles. Respect is very important! Don't waste any precious time because it might affect your grade. As long as you do your work, participate, and try your best and you should succeed with class. Goodluck!
