The work can be difficult, but patience and tutoring (which was available) can bring a student through it. Easy-to-read textbooks and clear worksheets help with combating potential confusion, and staff (teachers and librarians) are always eager to assist if needed.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of the course included easy-to-read lessons, useful worksheets, good textbooks, and an extremely helpful teacher. Calculators were provided for students who needed them. Practical real-world applications for trigonometry were also given as examples in the class.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

A background in algebra is a must. If you had trouble in algebra, try to study it a little more before taking this course. Be patient. If needed, seek out tutors. Do not hesitate to go to a teacher or a librarian for help. Do not be afraid to ask questions in class or admit that you are struggling.
