Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Kibble has pushed us to the limit with vigorous writing, grammar, and reading exercises. The class doesn't always enjoy the workload, but as someone who has recently taken the ACT exam, I can say that I was much more prepared because of this course. If you are in search of a difficult but preparatory course, this is a wonderful course to take.

    Course highlights:

This class played a monumental role in my scoring pretty well on my first ACT exam. Tests like the ACT are scary-- even if normal tests don't scare you, this test is scary. Everyone wants to do well so you have to prepare and this is a course to help you with that.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Listen to what Mrs. Kibbe tells you; she knows what she's doing and how to get the best results. She does grade harshly sometimes and she expects excellence, which is why her students are BRILLIANT! Expect to work hard, but also expect results.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend Mrs. Kibbe's course. It is challenging, but incredibly rewarding. Mrs. Kibbe would go to the end of the earth to make sure her students understand fully what she is teaching.

    Course highlights:

This course is practical; it focuses on how English is used in the real world. After finishing this course, I can do everything from writing an efficient business letter to analyzing 16th century poetry.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise anyone taking this course to not procrastinate researching for papers. Mrs. Kibbe assigns multiple assignments at once so before you not it, that paper you waited to do is also topped with grammar worksheets and a class presentation.
