Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would totally recommend this course to anyone who has the opportunity to take it! The course material has helped me in so many ways throughout my AP History class to my AP Literature class this year! Many aspects of the course, especially the vocabulary aspect, have improved my everyday language and how I analyze the news and any text that I tend to come across!

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were definitely the emphasis on different kinds of writing and the vocabulary heavy curriculum. The exposure to many kinds of writings from around the world and the use of the three logical appeals, as well as the use of many SAT vocabulary words enhanced my use of the vocabulary and understanding of many cultures all over the world.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The reading assignments really do help you on the AP Exam, so I highly recommend doing the readings and avoiding Spark Notes and tools like that, they really do hinder you in the long run. The vocabulary definitely shows a certain eclectic nature to bring into your own vocabulary.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a class that allows students to establish and expand their skills with not only literature, but to become more analytic and more observant on the small details in life. Not to mention, it prepares students for college with college based assignments, all while having a teacher that is always looking out for you.

    Course highlights:

The overall experience of Advanced Placement Literature and Composition is a highlight in of its own, to not only learn, but to enjoy what skills one might be truly capable of. The conduction of allowing the student to accomplish their goals that are never the same as the last hones the life skills seen later in life, specifically after high school and in college.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Simply put, just enjoy the subject of literature and what other forms of it that may exist. Just be yourself, respect others, and be responsible for your own self.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it helped me grow as a writer and as a public speaker. It allowed me to learn how to share my ideas effectively and how to interpret nonfiction texts.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of this course was developing my abilities as a public speaker. Throughout my academic career, speaking in front of a large group was never my strong suit, however, through group discussions of texts, I was in an environment where I had to share my ideas and I learned to be comfortable with it. My writing skills also flourished, as my vocabulary expanded and my teacher helped me to hone in the techniques to create a wonderful paper that expressed my ideas and opinions.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise any student to make sure they give their best effort. In this class, progress and success are readily attainable as long as you put in the work. I would recommend to never give up if at first you don't succeed, because the growth you will see from this class is astronomical.
