    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The amount of time management skills gained from taking this course is incredible.

    Course highlights:

There was so much learning that occurred by simply sitting in the classroom. Yeah, Ms.Elliott is a little intimidating and strict, but it's the best way to create responsible students. I felt like I wasn't really learning at first, but I ended up getting a 4 on the AP.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Something that really helped me was watching APUSH videos by Adam Norris on YouTube and taking notes off his power points into my spiral instead of from the textbook. Ms.Elliott goes really fast in class and you can pause the Adam Norris videos at home at your pace. A lot of what he covered was on the unit tests. Also be sure to do as much homework for the week on the weekend. You'll thank yourself during the school week.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it introduces the concept of heavy studying to students. Before this course, it was not necessary for me to study to truly be successful.

    Course highlights:

From this course, not I only did I learned how to study, but I also learned a new way to learn. Often I would need to collaborate with my fellow peers to truly appreciate the content and curriculum of United States History.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

It is a must to develop relationships with peers within the class so that multiple perceptions and understandings of the history will emerge.
