Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Taking English Honors really helped me better comprehend the books that I have read. I definitely became a better test taker by taking this class, which also improved my standardized test scores since English and Reading are both on the SAT and ACT.

    Course highlights:

I learned techniques that were beneficial for me to successfully take tests on books that I have read. I also learned how to better understand the books or articles I have read by getting a better grasp on how I approach my reading.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Always put forth your best effort because this is a class you need to graduate. Even though this class can be redundant, try to enjoy it as much as you can because it truly is beneficial. Throughout the time you're in this class, try to find the genres of books you like the best so you can make the most of your reading!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs Youngman is an amazing teacher. She is someone who seems to truly love her job and she does it well. She always arrives to school cheerful and in a great mood which livens up the faces of her students. The way she teaches she makes everyone feel included in the conversation.

    Course highlights:

This was like all of the other mandatory English classes. We would learn the normal mandatory curriculum like Classic literature and poems and such. The insight i gained from this class is that the teacher can make or break the subject for a student.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You would need the normal school supplies. In order to do the vocab You should be taking advantage of using online dictionaries and thesauruses. Always use time wisely or you will fall behind on the class work that she hands out.
