Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you love science, or you're looking into science fields as a future career, this is the course for you! It not only dissects biology at a fonder level but also trains you for rigorous, college courses; and what future college student wouldn't want that? (especially in a STEM subject if you're into that) I am about to be a biology major and taking AP Bio my senior year was a blessing directly from heaven, seriously.

    Course highlights:

EVERYTHING is intertwined! I can't stress that enough. It's not at all the honors class you take the test in and throw the paper and the knowledge out of the window. NO! Keep everything. My teacher required her students to have a four or five-inch binder; a section for notes, another for labs, one for homework, and another for tests and quizzes. The key to this course, and what helped me the most is READING and RESEARCHING. Books and the internet are your best friends when taking this course. Always try your best to have background knowledge on the topic your teacher is on.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are not the student to study, a simple task such as looking over your in-class notes is NEEDED and can help GREATLY, because with AP Biology details from the last topic will show up again in the next two and will be needed in order to co-relate concepts and get a gist of the big picture. Once you can retain information to interconnect them to new things, you're set for success in this course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it helps the student grow as a public speaker. Public speaking is something that we will have to do in life. In presentation speaking, we learn the skills of a good speaker.

    Course highlights:

I am currently taking the course, but so far I enjoy hearing everyone's stories and I look forward to seeing everyone grow.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Some Advice I would give a student considering this course is to have fun.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Advanced Placement classes help prepare people for college. AP Biology is a great full year course to start with. It goes in depth with the typical living environment science course each student must take to graduate! Amazing class.

    Course highlights:

Learning about DNA and doing hands on experiments with gel electrophoresis in actual DNA Labs was my favorite highlight in this course. I learned a lot down theories of evolution.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Focus is needed! So is studying!
