Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this class because it provides a vast amount of information about our government so that one can understand how the government functions.

    Course highlights:

I learned about all the positions that are present in our government. From each branch, there are many different positions that all have large roles in today's world.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always study for the tests and quizzes because they will affect your grade massively. Mr. Jackson helps you know what to study for each assessment.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would absolutely recommend taking this class because Mr. Jackson is one of my favorite teachers. He has a very straightforward personality in and out of the classroom, so that means he will be very straightforward with you. He is also a firm believer in class participation. This is great because it does not make you feel like you are sitting through lectures every single day in class

    Course highlights:

Learning about how our government functions was one of my favorite aspects of the course. In America, our government is very complicated in certain aspects, so being able to learn about how it functions was my favorite part of the class as a whole.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you study! His tests are not very difficult as long as you understand and can apply the material we go over in class. Cramming the night before a big test will not help you nearly as much as studying for about 30 minutes every day the week prior to the test.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it teaches the students how imporant and large of a part government plays in everything. It made me realize how the government impacts every one of us whether we realize it or not.

    Course highlights:

I learned how government improved and evolved in our country as time progressed. Our government still is not perfect and probably won't be for a long time yet to come, but we have the powet to fix it. I also learned about each of the different branches are set up and how they operate. With the upcoming presidential election, my classmates and I got to see first hand the information being taught to us which was very beneficial.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I reccommend going over your notes you took that day in class that same evening. Having the refresher before you go back to class helps when the lesson is picked back up the next day. Without remembering the information from the day prior it is hard to keep the timeline of events staight. I would also reccommend going through past notes occasionally in order to remember all the information you learned already. It is hard to make sense of many new lessons if you don't remember information from past ones.
