Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
The class gives you a good foundation of math and a review of previous mathematic concepts.
Course highlights:
The class was an easy higher level math class that was very understandable and applicable. We learned about z-scores, testing, and statistical evidence.
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
If you're good at math, you won't regret taking this class. Make sure you do your homework and ask questions when necessary.
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
I would recommend this course to any students who are interested in advanced math or who just like numbers.
Course highlights:
I found it interesting how many people should participate in a survey in order for it to be reliable. I liked our final project, in which we had to survey students from the school and use a certain statistic that we learned in order to prove something from our survey.
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
You have to put in effort when doing the problems, otherwise you won't be able to do it on the test. Even on homework, you have to at least try every problem.
This class was tough.
Course Overview:
If you are ready to challenge yourself, the class is for you. However, if bucket loads of homework and notes scares you, you may want to sign up for an easier math course.
Course highlights:
The highlight of the class was definitely barnwell's snarky jokes! I learned a lot about random samples and normal curves :)
Hours per week:
6-8 hours
Advice for students:
Be ready for homework every. single. night.
