    | Would highly recommend.

    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    I believe that this is the kind of English class that is actually useful to everyone. The things taught make you a better thinker, analyzer, and writer. It is important to be able to read and understand the different techniques that the writer is using to convince you (the reader) of something.

    Course highlights:

    I learned how to write really good essays. I know recognize different rhetorical devices in every day life that can help me understand good arguments and manipulative ones.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Be prepared to put a lot of time into the class. It is based on reading and writing, so expect to do those things every night. If you don't understand something, Mrs. Constantino is always willing to help and is one of the best teachers I've ever had. She wants you to succeed and she only spends time teaching the things that you need for the AP exam.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    The Science class i took was very difficult and very cool. Learning about the body is amazing.

    Course highlights:

    Where are all like family and we all learn with the teacher.

    Make sure you have a lot of time to study.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    I highly recommend AP Language and Composition because it creates a stronger writer out of every student. Although the work load is difficult, never give up! The keys to success are perseverance, repetition, and read, read, read! Know the current events inside and out. Understand counter claims. And engrain all the rhetorical analysis into your memory. The work with pay off in the end.

    Course highlights:

    By taking AP language and composition, writing essays has become a breeze. This course builds a strong foundation of writing skills into every student. I've learned to smoothly incorporate factual information, analyze the factual information, and make conclusions based on the factual information. In other words: cite, analyze, conclude. A simple concept that will take one's essay to the next level of education.

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    If you are planning on taking this course, read everything the teacher assigns you. Every homework assignment is there for your benefit and survival of this class. Students need the foundation of literature, essays, and authors to use in their own timed writes. Yes, it is vey time consuming, but only to your benefit! Be prepared for long hours of essay writing and reading. However, do not be scared by the work load. This class is extremely crucial for students to solidify their English foundation.
