    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I loved this class! The teacher is amazing and knows how to keep your interest. She comes across a tad intimidating but she's a true sweetheart. I've never learned as well as I did in her class.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course is the change of direction. I loved learning about limits and derivatives. It was a change from everything else I've ever learned and the review from previous courses are amazing!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Please please please ask millions of questions! The teacher will never judge you!

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you are up for a challenge, or you want your advanced regents diploma (in New York), go right ahead and take trig! However, it is not a mandatory class to take so if you want a lighter work load then I wouldn't suggest this class.

    Course highlights:

A lot of the formulas I learned in trig were still relevant in my pre-calc class, so keep those study guides!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

GO TO TUTORIALS! The teacher is there to help you! And if your teacher is unavailable for extra help, look for a tutor outside the classroom. Go to a different teacher's tutorials, find a friend who already took the course, or hire a college student to teach you (they'll be happy to do anything for money).

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is a good way to receive an introduction to Calculus.

    Course highlights:

This course furthered my knowledge in math and allowed me to expand my skills as a student.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give is to pay attention and apply yourself. Things won't come easy but if you work hard you can achieve anything you put your mind to.
