    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it does really prepare you for college. My teacher makes it seem like a real college class and the work itself definately feels like a college class.

    Course highlights:

The best part of this class is the discussions we have after reading a book. It's very nice hearing everyone's different points of view.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read every book assigned to you. Do not just read spark notes because that doesn't do it for this class. Also be sure to proof read all your essays before being graded.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Grey is a fantastic teacher who's really able to connect with his students. In this class, you'll be kept up to date with everything going on in U.S. politics.

    Course highlights:

Being an election year, this course was really interesting to take considering that the class holds students on both sides of the political spectrum. I really learned in detail about how the government works.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If you want to know more about politics and the government, as well as participate in stimulating class debates, this is an excellent course for you.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Yes, I would definitely recommend this course to any incoming seniors. It not only challenges you, but you have a better understanding of our system of government. You learn about influential supreme court cases, a thorough analysis of each branch of government and the checks and balances system.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was when we learned about civil liberties. Our teacher explained to us what speech kind of speech can and cannot be protected under the constitution. For example, if you were to burn a flag it would be protected under symbolic speech by the constitution.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Any students considering taking AP Government, I would say as long as you take the class seriously, it won't be too challenging. A lot of this class requires you to know what is going on in politics and real world situations. In addition, you are responsible for chapter homework and current events.
