Not too easy. Not too difficult.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would 100% recommend this course to anyone who enjoys learning about the music of other cultures. I very much enjoyed this course, as it involved a great deal of hands on learning as well as projects and assignments that allowed to me explore the content in a variety of ways, helping to make what I was learning about even more interesting.

    Course highlights:

Through my time in this course, I became aware of the thousands upon thousands of types of music from all around the world, and how we are all connected because of them. I was able to analyze scores of music and understand the musical elements that go along with them.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep a list of the vocabulary you learn throughout the year; there are no formal vocabulary-packets given out, so if you want to learn the words (and trust me, you do) keep track of them yourself.
