Not too easy. Not too difficult.
I am not an Education major, but I don't regret taking this course. The Social Foundation of Education isn't just about education but it also considers children's access to education through laws and policies made throughout the United States and seen throughout history. But not only with American children but also with children that are immigrants and other language speakers, America was founded on immigrants and it's important that we uphold that tradition.
For this course, since it's an Education course, students have to attend a School Board Meeting and a SAC meeting at their local school boards and schools. When I attended the School Board Meeting and a SAC Meeting at a local elementary school, it was eye-opening to see how everything worked in making sure that kid's were getting all the supplies that they needed. But their was also a realization of how much bullying is present in schools, especially within schools that are in a low socio-economic community. To learn that was heartbreaking, especially for kids that are trying to succeed and make something of themselves in the future.

Advice for students:
For this course, you definitely need to make sure that you have transportation to get to and from the School Board Meetings and the SAC Meetings at local schools. Their is alot of reading involved and important dates, but overall just make sure that you take lots of notes and pay attention.
