    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Use your textbook to learn outside of class. It seems like you understand the material, and by the time you start getting tests back you've taken a hit and it's hard to recover.

    Course highlights:

I gained a real appreciation of physics. It's something I'm truly interested in, and that made the class enjoyable. If you're going to take this course, you need to find physics fascinating.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Start studying early. It seems deceptively easy at first, but it's not. If you truly understand the concepts of linear dynamics and energy, then it's easy to apply to the rest of the year. Also, learn basic calculus based physics - derivatives and integrals are pretty intuitive, and make life easier.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Very intense, but very fun. The teacher goes way beyond the curriculum, teaches at a high level and may at times be difficult to follow, but does an excellent job of preparing for the AP test and college courses.

    Course highlights:

The electric motor project was... interesting. Lots of fun labs.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't give up. If you don't understand, ask. I guarantee that everyone else in the class has the same or a similar question.
