Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Richey is one of the best teachers at Xenia High School. If you need help, Mr. Richey is always there.

    Course highlights:

Chemistry is a lot of math, so we learned how to do a lot of chemistry math.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in class, and do your homework.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class is very fun and Mr.Jubara is very nice. He takes time to explain things when you need it. Plus, his labs are fun!

    Course highlights:

(I'm still taking it) Currently I've learned about Sig Figs and how to calculate them, how to solve through problems and more! I've learned a lot of things about chem labs, including safety. A highlight Ill consider is when we go to the chem lab and we get to do our own experiments. Through the chem lab, Ive gotten over my fear of matches and was able to light a match ( for the bunsen burner) for the first time! (It's not a severe fear, but I always have this weird idea that I'll burn my hand. Yikes!)

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always make sure to do your best. When you go to the lab, be respectful and don't goof around. There are dangerous things and you must be safe. Also, when Mr.Jubara is ready to teach, you have to listen to him! Don't keep talking. :)

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

My love for chemistry has grown over the year from starting with my last teacher, Mr. Jubara, and moving on to my current teacher, Mr. Richey. Chemistry isn't easy but it's mind blowing qualities make it far more interesting than any other subject I have partaken.

    Course highlights:

I've learned about the breakdown of the unseen world. Atoms make up everything around us, while elements help create a majority of the items available to us. Scientific methods as well as equations help set up life's massed equilibrium's.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

While going into this course, don't take any gained knowledge for granted. Chemistry expands your thinking process and you might think it's crazy at first but at the end of the day what you learned for that day will keep you up at night being it is so fascinating.
