Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course for several reasons. The most important thing I took away from this course is that I had a full understanding on how the human body worked before leaving the ninety day class. I took away a lot, and also learned a lot. We had hands on activities dealing with the bones, organs, and blood.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was when we did different dissections, and labs throughout the course. You can only take away so much from a textbook, but getting hands on experience significantly helped me. You experienced first hand what the organs looked like, what each bone in the body does and where its located. I also learned what the bones were made up of which was interesting.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to study. It's hard to study the night before a test, or catch up on work and labs because you missed them. The hard work will pay off, you just need to be sure to actually work hard. It was a fun course, but also challenging.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

While this class is a challenge I would recommend any class taught by Mrs. Moss because she truly gets you ready for college and allows you the chance to better yourself and understand what life after high school is really like.

    Course highlights:

I gained knowledge of what a college class will look like and how you are not the only one struggling in the class and while in high school they might care about you and how well you are doing, but in college you are not their main concern.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it! It may be challenging but you gain more than you lose.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would reccomend it because it gives a great introduction for what college will be like and the work that has to go into getting a good grade. You cant pass the class if you don't study like many other classes, so it takes a lot of work. It requires time management skills and will really help in the long run. If you aren't interested in a major dealing with bio, it is still recommended in order to get a good feel of college work..

    Course highlights:

I've been learning a lot in the class and learn something new everyday. I really enjoy the labs and activities that are done in the class and how well it coordinates with our tests. It is a lot of work, but I really like how this is a college course that deals with my major of nursing, and I've really learned how to work smart and use time management skills.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely study. Do all of the study guides and note takers given, and do that homework. If you do the homework and fill the study guide out as you go along, it's less time to study on the day before. Taking the labs seriously will help apply knowledge towards the tests too. You may think that the work is "unnecessary" and "too much" but if you do it all and stick it through, you will realize how much it helps the further you go on in the class.
