Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Until I took this class, I never knew or appreciated how important it is to be educated on how the government works, and exactly how it plays a role in our daily lives.

    Course highlights:

I really liked the projects we got to do that were directly related to the real world issues that were going on during the time I was taking the class, and learning what the governments roles were in all of it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it! In just a few years, you will be able to vote, and it's important to know exactly how and why you're voting. It's also necessary to understand how laws are created and passed and what they really mean. The government directly effects your life, so you should be educated on it!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because when I went to Palmetto Girls State my Junior year, I was prepared for the political debates and understood the offices and jobs of everyone in the governmental system. Also, being able to learn how our society today was affected by the past decisions of the Supreme Court and other laws and bills passed is extremely intriguing and interesting. I think this is a good class everyone should go through to get the full understanding of how our government works. Also, the past repeats itself, therefore, more people today should know the past mistakes our country has made so we do not make them again.

    Course highlights:

I gained having a better understanding of the entire course because it did focus on the material relevant to times today. We had many in class debates to process our views and come to a conclusion on certain topics that are controversial within the government. This class is a must take because it is not just "plug and chug" but actually helpful when deciding your beliefs and deciding which party you consider yourself to be a part of. Going through this class and debating beliefs allows for insightful, personal, and very helpful viewpoints to discover you.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book front to back and put time into the class. If you ever have any trouble with anything relating to AP US Government and Constitution, Hip Hughes is the man to look up. Watch videos of his and take the time to watch his live feed the night before the exam.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend the course because it is one that makes writing seem like more than just writing

    Course highlights:

I learned about how to dissect the words of William Shakespeare, and also on how to write better, and not as complicated

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just make sure that you do all of the assignments
