Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I personally found this course fun due to my love of math. It is very intensive with portions you're required to memorize in order to pass.

    Course highlights:

Trigonometry is the foundation for everything in this course. I learned many ways to utilize the unit circle and even how to find the side lengths and angles for non-right triangles.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always pay attention and take detailed notes. If you don't you'll find yourself forgetting what you learned rather quickly.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class prepares you for college math. It brushes you up on all the math you learned as well as teaches you new tips, tricks, and formulas.

    Course highlights:

I've really learned many more formulas for shapes. I learned how to work with percentages and outcomes of equations.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need a calculator, and note cards. You need to write down all the equations, as something to keep, so you always have something to study. Pay attention!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this class to students who want to challenge themselves! The material is very challenging but the teacher is amazing. Mike brown, the teacher, made this class amazing! He is an excellent teacher who keeps you engaged and learning simultaneously! My A in that class is because of him. Also if you have not taken his Algebra II class, it will make this class much more challenging as you have to adjust to his teacher style. That being, power teaching.

    Course highlights:

My teacher was certainly a highlight! He is the best teacher at Alcoa! I learned a lot of trig and am very prepared to take calc 1 from his class! This class helped me think in a more efficient way than I ever have before.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready for a hard work load and challenging concepts.
