    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Unless you love history, this course can be extremely challenging and work-intensive. It is definitely a history course that you need to memorize the dates, which can be difficult.

    Course highlights:

There was so much information in one year. If you enjoy seeing the effects and wars throughout Europe's history, this is a great class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Absolutely do not wait until the night before a test to start studying. Don't be afraid to ask your teacher questions either because there is so much information.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is a very work-intensive course. If you are interested and love history, it will be easy to find yourself engaged.

    Course highlights:

Taking this class in high school, it really gives you a sense of the work load that will come in a college course. The details can feel so minute, but they are required to know in order to pass exams.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The information can feel overwhelming, so if you are finding yourself lost in the details, don't be afraid to ask your teacher/professor for guidance on what to study!

    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is an eye-opener. The course is rigorous and helps in preparing students for college as the requirements are slightly higher than honors courses. The information learned is valuable in creating a well informed, well rounded member of society.

    Course highlights:

The most crucial piece of information that I acquired from this course was not taught in the class but rather gained through trial and error. This course taught me how to study efficiently and identify important points of information buried in small details that are of little importance.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to put in your best effort everyday both in class and at home.
