    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this class, simply because of the way its taught. Mr. Vinko is all about the students. He makes learning calculus fun and easy with the hours of homework each night or the days of being lost and frustrated in class from not knowing what is going on.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this class was honestly just being in class everyday, this is my second semester with Mr. Vinko and i have yet to have a bad day. A more specific highlight is working through problems you don't understand, he goes step by step and makes sure everyone is on the same page before moving on. I can honestly say everything he has taught us I have learned and retained. I believe I can work even the hardest of problems from the beginning of the year. Another thing I have learned is to not be afraid to ask for help in front of the class, chances are someone else has he exact same question you do, and you are there to LEARN not sit there and be lost!!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say to come into this class with an open mind. Calculus isn't as scary as it seems. Also Mr. Vinko has a lot of funny stories, don't be afraid to talk to him in between problems when you feel like your brain is going to explode from numbers and letters mixed together! Make sure you are working hard and paying attentions when he is giving the lessons, and be sure to interact and answer or attempt to answer his questions he asks a lot of them!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it, because Mr.Loofy is an outstanding teacher who is willing to help whoever needs or wants help. If he knows that you are struggling, he will allow you to go into tutorials as much as possible and he will give you all the one-to-one time that you need, so that you learn the lesson that is being taught. He is a teacher that definitely knows what he is doing.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to read equations better and understanding real world math problems. I also learned how to stay on top of my coursework so that I would not fall behind, because he is a teacher that moves very fast.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

ALWAYS do your homework, whether you understand it or not always put in an effort to do is. If you don't understand the lesson that is being taught, go to Mr.Loofy for guidance so that he can teach you in a way that you will understand more. Also, as soon as a new lesson is being taught, start on a notecard as soon as possible, because he allows you to use one on the test.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was an okay class and definitely better than the other math teachers in the school. She was practical, though not very challenging. Her homework assignments were pretty moderate, but not very well explained all of the time.

    Course highlights:

I don't know it was a pretty basic course with not many highlights. She did let us play review games before some of the more important tests, so I guess those would be highlights of the course/year.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say that you should go ahead and get like an Advanced Placement book like I did, because this course wasn't always very organized, so it was nice to get an overview type thing from the AP book.
