Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved the class. We had so many great discussions that greatly enhanced the quality of the understanding I had about the information I read. The teacher is great and really gets all the students involved.

    Course highlights:

I gained a lot of knowledge by taking this course. The highlights would have to be the daily anecdotes Mr. Wimer told us to keep us focused.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read all the books assigned and try to look at the deeper level and meaning rather than just the surface level.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

My time in AP Literature & Composition has helped me to read into the deeper meaning of a text. I have also learned how to decipher poems and other short works, while also intensely studying both classic and contemporary novels.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to discover the meaning of a work as a whole, how to read deeper into poetry, and how to format different types of poems (sonnets, etc.) I have also learned how to write poem explications and even some poetry of my own.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would give students the advice to never cram a reading chunk into one night. Span your reading out through a few weeks in order to give yourself time to take it all in. Also always take textbook notes, it'll help you during quizzes.
